Nanaimo’s North End is one of the newest neighbourhoods in the city. Some of the older houses in this area are only 20 or 30 years old, which is quiet young
compared to some of the other Nanaimo properties in the South End or Old City. There is also a lot of new development in the area, and the high demand for homes is driving up prices. The North End has some of the most expensive property in Nanaimo. However, the neighbourhood also has some a lot of amenities. Despite the price tag, the North End is perfect for families as there are several schools located in the area parks and shopping centers.
Some of the parks in the North End include:
Linley Valley (Cottle Lake) Park, Eagleview Park, Roxanne Park, Walley Creek Trail, Walley Creek, Trail and Lantzville Foothills.
